SEHS Claims State Champions!

Special announcement and a huge congratulations goes out to two South Elgin High School programs that brought home State Champions this weekend. Boy’s IHSA Basketball Class 4A – 3 Point Shoot Out State Champion – Jake Maestranzi took first place at the State competition in Peoria. Also this weekend, the IDTA (Illinois Drill Team Association) State Champion 3A Color Guard Competition – was won by our STORM Color Guard they took first place in Champaign-Urbana and are the 2012 State Champions as well – team members are: Stephanie Monell, Chris Bermas, Emily Ducote, Betsy Probst, Carmela Montenegro, Sarah Welz, Zoe Snopko, and Kelsey Turner. To the coaches and students, congratulations!
